Hello! The van is loaded to the gills with folk art and other stuff. Jimmy Hedge’s new rabbit ear hat is quite the hit wherever we go. We made one slight detour into Johnson City to visit noted auctioneer and character Kimbal Sterling. Hearing Kimbal & Jimmy deal was very informative & entertaining. Unfortunately, we could not fit into the van a large sculpture that would have been a hit in NYC. A couple of paintings and smaller sculptures did make it into the van.
After a good drive through the moonlit Shenannoah Valley, we found lodging in Mt. Jackson, VA. We will now get back on I-85 and try to beat the rain/snow into NYC. Jimmy just asked the clerk how long it would take to get to NYC and the clerk told him to be careful as there is a large monster in midtown headed towards Central Park. I could not see the blank look on Jimmy’s face from where I am sitting but can imagine it.
Next stop: NYC!
